Ways to Serve

Ways to serve the church

Many people participate in our worship services. They include:

- Lectors
Members of the congregation who read from scriptures during worship.

- Acolytes
Those who help serve at the alter during worship

- Chalice Bearers
Those who help administer the wine Communion

Alter Guild
Those who prepare the church for worship before service and also care for the holy objects used in worship

Ushers and Greeters -
Those who act as hosts for worship in the church

Musicians -
Members of the congregation who play instruments or sing in the choir. We have used many instruments in our choir, in addition to the commonly used organ, guitars, dulcimers, and on occasion, tambourine.  If you play an instrument or like to sing, we would love to have you join us.
